Learn. Reflect. Act. Review.
Every one of the 26 weeks follows the same four steps, built to fit into your life rather than take it over.
Learn
Watch the week's short videos: what the topic is, why it matters and how it works.
Reflect
Answer the week's questions in your workbook. The ones most people are never asked, and rarely ask themselves.
Act
Do one thing differently that week: a habit, a conversation, a decision, or how you respond to a thought or feeling.
Review
Start the next week by looking at what happened, what got in the way and what you're carrying forward.
Give yourself one hour a week
You give hours every week to work, to other people and to your phone. This one is for you. It's hard to become who you want to be if you never make time for it.
Week 1 asks a little more, so give it two sittings. Miss a week? Pick up where you stopped.
Personal development you apply, not just consume.
To find the right answers, you have to be asked the right questions. That's where the workbook comes in.
The digital workbook
Fillable on your phone, tablet or computer. Answer on whichever device suits you.

What does your internal voice say when you fall short?
Where did your time, attention and money actually go?
Does this sound like you?
If you've ever thought one of these, it's for you.
- I've read the books and listened to the podcasts. Something's still missing.
- I know what I should be doing. I'm just not doing it consistently.
- I've tried to work on myself before, but never with a clear plan or order.
- I'd rather be asked good questions than told how to live.
- you're looking for a quick fix
- you want something to watch without doing anything differently
- you're not ready to be honest with yourself on paper
You'll take the free Starting Point Assessment
Find out where you actually stand across seven areas of your life, from identity and values to relationships, work and meaning. When you finish, you'll see your score for each area and where your biggest gaps are. It takes about 3 minutes.

- Personal trainer and online coach11 yearsHelping people transform their physique and lifestyle

- Personal developmentLifelongLearning, developing and growing through my own journey
I've spent 11 years in personal training and online coaching, and over 6 years educating other personal trainers and coaches. Whether I was coaching a client or teaching a coach, the part that always interested me most was the person: why we do what we do, and what it takes to change it. And after a decade of books, podcasts, coaches and mentors of my own, I was doing everything right on the outside while something underneath was still off. I'd never worked on myself in a structured way.
I had a thousand personal development puzzle pieces, and no way of putting them together.
So I built the resource I couldn't find: the right topics and the right questions, in the right order, with a way to apply them.
Whether you coach other people for a living or you've never set foot in a gym, the same is true for all of us: we have to work on ourselves to grow into who we're capable of becoming, whether that's in our work, our relationships, our health or the way we live day to day.
The Self Growth Formula is the piece I was missing, the structure that puts it all together. I can't do the work for you, and I won't promise a particular result. But the door is open, and if you're willing to walk through it and do the work, everything you need is here.

Honest answers.
What's the difference between founding and public sign-up?
Only the price and the timing. The programme is identical. Founding membership is for the email list, from 9am to 9pm on Sunday 1st November, at a lower price you keep for as long as your membership continues. Public sign-up runs from 9am on Monday 2nd to 9pm on Wednesday 4th November, at the full price. Registering is how you get the founding link, and that includes registering on the Sunday itself.
I already know a lot about personal development. Is this for me?
The Self Growth Formula isn't about how much you know. It's about whether what you know shows up in how you live. Some topics will feel familiar, and that's fine: the difference comes from the structured work. Every topic in a logical order, questions about your own life, and one practical change each week. If you already know a lot, you simply have more to apply.
I've bought courses before and never finished them.
Most courses give you everything at once and leave you to it. This releases one week at a time, asks for one focused hour a week, and tells you exactly what to do in that hour. If you miss a week, you pick up where you stopped. It still depends on you doing the work, and nothing can guarantee that, but it's built for people who've struggled to finish things before.
What happens after I join?
Week 1 opens straight away: the Week 1 videos on the members' site and Week 1 of your workbook. Watch the videos, then complete your Starting Point Assessment and the week's questions in your workbook. A new week opens every seven days, so you're only ever working on one week at a time. Lifetime members in the UK also get the paperback workbook in the post.
How do I get the printed workbook?
Choose lifetime access. The paperback is only available with lifetime: it isn't sold separately and can't be added to a monthly membership. It contains all six months and is posted to UK addresses after the intake closes. Monthly members answer the same questions in the digital workbook.
Can I do it on my phone?
Yes. The videos play on any phone, tablet or computer, and the digital workbook is built to work on all three. Answer on whichever device suits you, and pick up on another where you left off.
Is there a community?
Not a community in the usual sense: there are no group chats, forums or live calls. Inside the members' site there's a Reviews & Insights space where members can post their experiences, the progress they've made and tips for others. Read it and add to it whenever it's useful. The work itself is yours, done in your own time.
Is this therapy?
No. The Self Growth Formula is applied personal development: educational, structured self-reflection. It isn't therapy or counselling, it isn't medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it isn't a crisis service. If you're in crisis or need clinical support, please start there: you deserve the right help. If you are in immediate danger, call emergency services. Support resources.
What results will I get?
Honestly, that depends on you, and no one can guarantee it. What you get from it depends on how honestly you engage with the questions, how consistently you act on what you find, and your own circumstances.
What if it's not for me? Can I cancel?
Monthly membership can be cancelled at any time, with no minimum term. Because you get access to the course straight away, at checkout you'll be asked to agree to start immediately, so the usual 14-day cancellation period for digital content doesn't apply. Lifetime access is a one-off payment and, for the same reason, isn't refundable once your access has started, other than where the law requires. The full details are in the Terms of Use, and nothing affects your statutory rights.
