Terms of Use

Last updated: 29th October 2026

1. Who we are. The Self Growth Formula is a trading name of Ryan Hook Coaching Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14228917), registered office Stone Cottage, Stockett Lane, East Farleigh, Maidstone, ME15 0QG. Contact: hello@selfgrowthformula.com. "We", "us" and "our" mean Ryan Hook Coaching Ltd. "You" means the person who buys or uses the Programme.

2. These terms. These terms and our Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and us. Please read them before you buy, especially sections 5, 8, 9 and 12. At checkout, we'll ask you to confirm that you accept them.

3. Who can join. You must be 18 or over and give us accurate details. Each membership is for one person.

4. The Programme. The Self Growth Formula is a six-month, 26-week applied personal-development programme. It includes 74 video lessons, a digital workbook you complete online on any phone, tablet or computer, and a members' Reviews & Insights space, delivered through our online platform (currently Circle).

The Programme is designed to be worked through over six months, so for every plan, content is released one week at a time from your join date: Week 1 on joining, then the next week every 7 days, up to Week 26 after 175 days. Each month begins as follows:

We may update or improve content, but the Programme will stay substantially as described when you bought it.

5. Personal development, not therapy. The Programme is educational. It is not therapy or counselling. It is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice. It is not a crisis service. It isn't intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.

If you are experiencing mental illness, the effects of trauma, addiction, an eating disorder, thoughts of self-harm or suicide, or any other serious health concern, please get support from a qualified professional. If you're in immediate danger, call emergency services.

We make no guarantee about the results you'll achieve.

6. Plans and prices

6.1 Monthly membership: £49 per month, taken each month on the date you joined. It continues until you cancel (see section 8).

6.2 Lifetime access: £294, paid once. This includes access to the Programme for its lifetime (see 6.4), released on the schedule in section 4, and one printed copy of the complete workbook, posted to a UK address.

We can only post the printed workbook to UK addresses. If you live outside the UK, lifetime access includes the digital workbooks that every member receives, but not the printed copy, and the price is the same.

6.3 Founding membership: founding prices are available only to members who join through our email list during the founding window, which is limited to 30 places. The founding window runs from 9am to 9pm (UK time) on Sunday 1st November 2026, or until all 30 places are taken, whichever comes first. Founding members pay the founding monthly price shown at checkout for as long as their membership continues without a break, or the founding lifetime price shown at checkout, paid once, for lifetime access (including one printed copy of the complete workbook for UK addresses, as described in 6.2). Founding prices are lower than the standard prices in 6.1 and 6.2. A founding member who cancels and later rejoins pays the standard price at that time.

6.4 What "lifetime" means. Lifetime access lasts for as long as we run The Self Growth Formula online programme. It doesn't mean the life of a person. If we ever close the Programme, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice, and you keep any workbooks you've downloaded.

6.5 Intakes. We open to new members at set times, usually once a month, and the number of places in each intake is limited. Our email list receives the sign-up link first, from 9am (UK time) on the first Sunday of the month. If places remain, sign-up is then opened to the public at the standard prices. We announce the opening and closing times of each intake in advance, and each intake closes at the announced time, or earlier once all places are taken.

6.6 Price changes. We may change the monthly price by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. You can cancel before the change takes effect. Founding members keep the founding price as described in 6.3.

6.7 Prices. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). If you pay in another currency, your bank or card provider may charge a conversion fee.

7. Payment. Payments are taken by card through our payment provider, Stripe. If a monthly payment fails, Stripe will retry it and we'll let you know. If it isn't resolved, your membership will be cancelled and your access will end.

8. Cancelling a monthly membership

8.1 You can cancel at any time from your account's billing settings, or by emailing us. Your membership then ends at the end of the month you've paid for, and you keep access until that date.

8.2 Rejoining. If you rejoin after cancelling, you start the Programme again from Month 1, with each month released on the schedule in section 4 from your new join date.

8.3 We'll send you any reminders about your subscription that the law requires. Cancelling will be as straightforward as joining.

9. Your legal rights to cancel and to a remedy

We don't offer refunds beyond what the law requires. The law gives you these rights:

9.1 Digital content. You normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. Because your access starts immediately, at checkout we ask you to agree to immediate access and to acknowledge that, once it starts, you lose this right to cancel.

9.2 The printed workbook (lifetime access). The printed workbook is physical goods. You can cancel it within 14 days of delivery by telling us, then return it unused and in its original condition within 14 days. We'll refund the value of the printed workbook. You pay the return postage unless the workbook is faulty.

9.3 Faulty or not as described. If digital content is faulty or not as described, we'll repair or replace it. If we can't, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund. If your printed workbook arrives damaged or faulty, tell us within 30 days and we'll replace it.

9.4 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10. Your licence. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Programme for your own development. You must not share your login, record or download the videos, or copy, share or sell the workbook or its questions. Your answers are yours: you can download a copy of what you have written.

11. The Reviews & Insights space

11.1 Members can share reviews, experiences and insights for other members to read. Please don't post other people's private information, detailed health information, or advice to others on medical, psychological, financial or legal matters. The space isn't monitored 24 hours a day and isn't a crisis service. If you need urgent support, use the resources at the front of your workbook.

11.2 By posting, you allow other members and us to read your post within the Programme.

11.3 Using your post outside the Programme. We will always ask your permission before using your words outside the Programme. When we ask, we'll tell you how they will be used and whether your name will appear. You can withdraw permission for future use at any time.

11.4 We may remove posts that break these terms, and we may suspend access for serious or repeated breaches.

12. Our liability to you

12.1 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

12.2 If digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content because we failed to use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair the damage or pay you compensation.

12.3 We're not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses, because the Programme is for personal use.

12.4 Otherwise, as far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before your claim.

13. Ending your access. If you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms (for example, by sharing your account), we may end your access after telling you why.

14. Events outside our control. We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as platform outages. We'll tell you and do what we reasonably can to limit the effect.

15. Our intellectual property. The Programme's text, videos, questions, exercises, structure and design are protected by copyright and belong to Ryan Hook Coaching Ltd. Where the Programme refers to other people's ideas, those ideas remain theirs and are credited.

16. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We'll email you about any important change at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

17. Complaints. Email hello@selfgrowthformula.com. We'll reply within 5 working days.

18. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims in your local courts. If you live outside the UK, you also keep any mandatory consumer protections that the law of your own country gives you.

19. One-to-one coaching. Any one-to-one coaching with Ryan is covered by a separate agreement.
